The documentary

The new album by Jacob Desvarieux takes its name from a genealogical search that led the guitarist and composer to follow in the footsteps of his ancestor Euphrasine.

Since then, he has brought together a group of musician friends to create Nanm Kann (“The soul of the cane”) and reveal his vision of the blues, inevitably colored by his native Guadeloupe.

Before celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the band Kassav next year, this new stage adventure allows us to discover one of its creative geniuses in a more intimate way.
