The documentary
They are eight children from across the world. Some live in China, others in India or Mali. Although they are all different, they are driven by the same passion: music.
From the Lu Sheng in China to the Indian tabla, from the Malian kora to the Cuban drum, the documentary collection Passions d’enfants immerses us in a true discovery of music and the intimate relationship a child has with their instrument.
Each child portrait is constructed like a story. It reveals the specificity of a still-living tradition, the history and secrets of making an instrument, while presenting the unique situation of each child, their relationship with their family, their teacher, etc.
The episodes in the documentary collection Passions d’enfants have met with international success and have won numerous awards around the world.
