THE FILM

From the dangerous savannahs of Kenya to the winding trails of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains, from the stifling heat of the Indian coast to the vastness of the high plateaus of Argentine Patagonia, these children are driven by the same quest, the same dream.

Jackson, Zahira, Samuel, and Carlito are the heroes of On the Way to School, a feature-length adventure documentary that intersects the destinies of four young schoolchildren forced to face a thousand obstacles to reach their school.
