Michel Seydoux

Michel Seydoux began his career as assistant to the president of the Central Organization of Youth Camps and Activities (OCCAJ), from 1968 to 1970. In 1971, he founded Caméra One, a feature film production company, which he manages. A former president of Air Littoral Holding, he also served as president of the LOSC Lille football club until January 2017. He is currently a director of Gaumont and a member of the board of directors of Pathé. He has produced or co-produced more than 40 feature films, including Alejandro Jodorowsky’s La danza de la realidad, Alain Cavalier’s Pater, Jean-Paul Rappeneau’s Cyrano de Bergerac, Alain Resnais’ On connaît la chanson, Nikita Mikhalkov’s Burnt by the Sun, Alain Resnais’ Smoking/No Smoking, and Joseph Losey’s Don Giovanni. The Oak, co-directed in 2022 with Laurent Charbonnier, is his first film. It has garnered nearly 500,000 admissions in theaters.
